Why Does the Tea Party Hate Americans and Their Government?

Tea Party Moran

The answer to the title of the post is that they are scared little shits who have no idea how the government operates to insure fairness to all. They believe it should only act in their interest. So, they have no problem with the government defaulting on it’s debt’s.

They are too vapid to see how it affects them in the global picture.

The Tea Party is so clueless they do not even realize they took their name after an event whose goal was to decide which form of government the colonies should be taxed under. Not that government should not exist or that it’s citizens should not be taxed.

Yet even after the conservatives won a resounding victory in the debt ceiling debate, many Tea Partiers bemoaned the final agreement.

The mantra of the Tea Partiers is reduce the debt and no new taxes. The problem is that tends to hurt poor Americans. And with no new revenues, especially on the rich who have made billions on the backs of the poor, the true ideal of the American economy becomes corrupt.

The question is not whether the debt needs to be reduced, it does. But when American’s begin to rely on a scared shitless, intellectually challenged, and selfish minority, we all suffer.

Paranoia in American politics…sounds rather alarmist if you ask me…get with the program…the Tea Party RULES!

I thought you were supposed to govern, not rule :-)

the poor ppl oh the poor ppl, listen potty mouth, I am a “poor person” Poor as in living in debt and not able to pay the bills on time. However I understand my evil ways and am attempting, and succeding, to mend them. So don’t you write so condescending to “poor ppl”.

Cathy, thanks for commenting. It’s amazing how badly you misunderstand my post. As a social worker I have dedicated myself to the poor and trying to make sure that they don’t get unnecessarily screwed, which they often do.

If I talk condescendingly towards anyone it would be the uber wealthy and corporations who clearly only care about profits and not people.

Since I became a social worker 11 years ago I have watched the resources meant to help those in need dry up. Especially in the mental health and addiction field.

Thanks for writing and stop by again.

That picture is absolutely priceless. You can’t buy that kind of irony.

I can understand how rich people could become tea party members but I have absolutely no idea how the lower class gets involved in it. This may be a prejudgement of mine but I’m guessing that guy in the photo doesn’t run a fortune 500 company, unless spelling wasn’t a prerequisite.

But I doubt this will ever change. People have been voting against their own interest (especially in the USA) for quite a long time. It’s the nature of the beast.

I will not vote for any Tea Party or Republican candidate or anyone who votes to change the definition of the sacred marriage vows. I will stay with Obama. You tell me how could the economy change with anyone of those bozos when the economy is bad in Europe and throughout the world?

    Continue from previous

There are those who will vote for anybody so long as it is not a man or woman of color being the United States President. Matthews is right about republicans and Tea Party candidates; they are hate mongers.

You are SO right! I don’t think the original Tea Party started out that way, but it has become EXACTLY as you describe!

I went to TeaParty.org, went to their forums. They have NO comprehension whatsoever how the constitution works. They spew hatred, make threats that they will kill people. I was shocked! The admin blocks anyone who tries to peaceably explain the Constitution, but allows those to remain who call people names and curse at them (and they do this in the name of Jesus – and as a Christian it is deeply disturbing.). Check out this crazed thread, where they spew out not only hate, but a complete misunderstanding of the Constitution! http://teapartyorg.ning.com/forum/topics/there-is-no-such-thing-as-a … these people are frightening and will be the demise of this nation if they continue!
